APPAREL THAT FITS
THE PLANET
At Della Terra we understand that our Mother Earth is a limited edition.
And we exist to do everything in our power to help save it.
Join us and be part of the change.
At Della Terra we firmly believe that the only way to do business is by creating financial systems and models that protect our planet and do not cause any harm to anyone, directly or indirectly, involved in our supply chain. We are and always have been radically transparent about our social and environmental practices from the beginning.
Minimizing the environmental impact of our products is our priority and the pillar that guides all our design and business decisions. The climate crisis is our number one concern and we understand that to be part of the solution we must start by tracking our own footprint.
All of our products have a significantly lower impact on the environment than traditional garments thanks to their fabrics, trims and packaging, as well as the processes used to produce them. We have started the process of quantifying the impact of each garment in terms of:
Energy
impact
Impacto de la
energía
The impact of
pollutants
El impacto de los
contaminantes
CO2 emissions
and the impact
of landfills
35.7% of our line uses organic materials
Less than 0.6% of our fibers are virgin synthetics
25.5% of our line uses recycled materials
37% of our line uses sustainable biodegradablel fibers such as hemp and Tencel Lenzing

ENERGY
Della Terra currently operates online only but it is deeply committed to operating through clean energy. This is why we have ensured our main partners share our values and take the same care for the planet that we do.
Hemp Fortex: they account for 15% of our line for example is the only authorized agent of the world’s first-tier brand “Trinasolar” in Rushan. Trina Solar’s photovoltaic system has world-class quality and has ranked first in global sales for two consecutive years.
Fabricato: they account for 30% of our line and they autogenerate 68% of their energy. This is the equivalent to the energy consumption of 580,000 households.
Spataro Napoli: our main manufacturing supplier is currently updating their energy supply to shift to solar powered operations.
WATER
At Della Terra we try to avoid dying processes at all costs and instead prioritize sourcing from factories that:
- Recirculate the water consumed during their industrial processes.
- Have zero water dumpings during dying and printing to avoid at all costs contamination of our natural resources.
- Use only oeko-tex and GRS approved chemicals for dyeing and finishing.
- monitor and control water usage.
- In fact, the life cycle of our Hemp fabrics are traced from beginning to end and have received ECOCERT: a certification guaranteeing their sustainability.
Biodegradable Nylon
Biodegradability is the property that starts when the user decides a garment’s life has come to an end has the garment has been disposed off. Biodegradability flows for the material to decompose into organic matter (biomass) and biogas which can be reused as new resources for the environment (such as co-generator of electric energy).
T-Green decomposes up to 58% in its first two years and 90% in 5 years while standard Nylon only biodegrades 6% in 3 years.
No synthetic material in history has been tested with a result of 100% conversion into biogas making T-Green a milestone in the textile market and a great evolution in sustainable development.
